"Tony? How could it be you?"
Surprised, Su Liuying looked at the man walking into the conference room. It was Tony, the friend she had made in France. Almost a year had passed since their last farewell. She vividly remembered sending him off to the plane, as he had jokingly expressed his anticipation of the day they would meet again. Yet, she hadn't expected him to appear before her in such a manner today.
Tony nodded with a smile, gesturing for Su Liuying to sit down first. She glanced at her colleagues and noticed they were all looking at her, so she quickly took a seat.
Lin Runjie also noticed the exchange between them, and his brow furrowed slightly, but he said nothing.
"Hello, colleagues! I'm thrilled to be able to become one of you from now on! I look forward to your guidance!"
