"Liuying, you're here again!"
The worksite supervisor had grown familiar with Su Liuying. Each time he saw her come by, he would make a point of coming over to greet her.
"Supervisor Zheng, good afternoon!"
The two of them chatted while walking towards the project. Suddenly, Su Liuying felt a wave of darkness before her eyes. She stopped in her tracks and closed her eyes, thinking she must be too tired.
In the past few days, after that outburst, she didn't know how to face Quan Tianyou. She had left the villa early in the morning while he was still asleep and had not been sleeping well since. Every time she closed her eyes, she would remember the moment she broke down.
"What's wrong? Liuying, you look so pale!"
Supervisor Zheng noticed her abnormality. "Liuying, don't push yourself too hard. Go rest in the office for a bit!"
"No need, I'm fine. I'll just have a look at the fourth floor and then I'll leave. I'll rest properly when I get back!"
