After work, Su Liuying didn't want to go back to her rented room right away; she walked slowly along the seaside by herself. The sea breeze felt pleasant on her face, so she stopped in her tracks, tilted her head back, and let the sea air blow across her face, messing up her hair.
Suddenly, a wolf-whistle broke her reverie. She opened her eyes and saw that several boys had surrounded her.
"Hey, beauty! All alone?"
One of the boys whistled again and walked up to Su Liuying, speaking in a flippant tone, "We guys were just getting bored, beauty. Why don't you hang out with us?"
"Back off!"
Su Liuying gave him a cold glance, but the sharpness in her eyes didn't scare him away; instead, he laughed.
"Oh, I like this feisty attitude!"
"You haven't even grown all your hair yet and you're trying to pick up girls? Go home and wait till you're fully grown before you try again!"
Her words made everyone around burst into loud laughter.
"Oh, Big Liu, got shot down, did you!"
