In the hospital, Su Liuying was clutching her medical record, waiting for her number to be called at the guidance desk. Despite arriving early in the morning, she still found herself in a long queue, resigned to waiting her turn.
Suddenly, a commotion arose from the hospital lobby. She looked up and saw a tall, handsome, and aloof man being escorted by a group of people as he walked toward the lobby.
She was not unfamiliar with this man, a magnate from City S, whose photos could be seen on posters, magazines, and newspapers all over the city.
"Mr. Quan, please come this way!"
Dr. Lin bowed and fawned as he greeted Quan Tianyou and walked ahead. As the hospital's biggest shareholder, keeping him content was pivotal; satisfying him would ensure a bright future for the hospital.
"Tsk, isn't it just a bit of stinking money? Do those people really need to fawn over him like groveling dogs?"
Su Liuying curled her lip in disgust, and as she looked up, her gaze met Quan Tianyou's, causing him to pause. That kick she had given him had hurt for two days, and he had not yet sought retribution. It was such a coincidence to see her here.
He changed direction and walked towards her, leaving Dr. Lin confused and hesitant to ask questions; he could only follow behind toward Su Liuying.
"Are you sick?"
Quan Tianyou looked at Su Liuying, who wore thick glasses, but he remembered her face distinctly and recognized her at a glance.
"Who are you? What... what does it have to do with you!"
Never expecting Quan Tianyou to approach her, Su Liuying's face turned a bit red. Because she was nervous, her speech stumbled, and she tried to hide her medical record behind her back.
Quan Tianyou, with a keen eye, snatched the medical record from her hand, glanced at it, and said, "Your name is Su Liuying? Quite a fitting name for you!"
"Give it back to me, now!"
Su Liuying angrily reached out to grab her medical record back, as it contained all of her personal information.
"No way!"
He raised his hand out of her reach, and as she repeatedly tried to grab his sleeve, his height advantage kept it just beyond her grasp.
"You're not allowed to look, you're not allowed to look!"
Su Liuying's resistance only made Quan Tianyou more curious about what was written in her medical record.
As he parried her hands away, he flipped open the record and saw "**** membrane repair" written on it, which left him somewhat surprised. He looked up at her, "You're here for this surgery?"
"None of your damn business!"
Su Liuying snatched her medical record back when he wasn't paying attention, angry, and stuffed it into her bag.
"Of course, it's my business! I'm the one who handled it!"
Quan Tianyou raised his eyebrow, looking at her with a mischievous smirk. His words were like a bomb, leaving Su Liuying stunned and on the brink of screaming.
"Ah! You... you are...? So you're that gigolo!"
No wonder Su Liuying had found his voice familiar; he was indeed that despicable man!
Although she had not been able to see the man's face clearly in their previous encounters, this time she had been wearing glasses and could see Quan Tianyou very clearly. She could never have imagined she would find herself entangled with such a prominent figure of City S.
Seeing Su Liuying's shocked expression, Quan Tianyou leaned in close and whispered in her ear menacingly, "Su Liuying, let me tell you, I don't mind breaking it again after you've had it repaired!"
