"Wonder what it feels like to hold a woman like that in your arms! Just the thought of it is exciting! Oh, look, she has a pink butterfly-shaped birthmark on her chest, so mysterious!"
Du Jie's words made Quan Tianyou pause in his actions and glance over, indeed seeing the birthmark on her chest, which he remembered; he had also seen it on the body of that woman that night.
"Damn it!"
He cursed under his breath and stood up to walk out.
On stage, Su Liuying was still dancing her heart out when Quan Tianyou, looking furious, marched onto the stage and yanked her off the pole.
"Hey, what are you doing!"
Su Liuying was startled, having never encountered such a situation before. After a brief moment of shock, she began to struggle, trying to break free from his grip.
"Let go of me now!"
The audience below started shouting, "Who are you? Let her go! We were just getting into it!"
The nightclub manager, hearing the commotion, hurried over and upon seeing Mr. Quan, quickly approached and asked, "Mr. Quan, what is this...?"
"Her, I'm taking her away!"
Quan Tianyou's terse statement set the crowd ablaze with commotion.
"Manager, who is he to just take her away like that! We were really enjoying the show!"
"Today, I'll cover everyone's expenses!"
Quan Tianyou dropped a line and the entire place went completely silent. He looked around, smiled, and dragged Su Liuying off the stage.
"Manager, manager, I don't know her! I'm just here to dance part-time, I don't accompany drinks!"
She grabbed the manager's sleeve in a panic, almost on the verge of crying.
"Mr. Quan, this..."
"This has nothing to do with you, go on with your work!"
Mr. Quan's words made the nightclub manager disregard Su Liuying's plea for help and shake off her hand as he ran away.
"Who are you? I don't know you, why did you pull me down!"
Su Liuying was desperate; she knew nightclubs were chaotic, and she always made a point of leaving immediately after her dance. Today must be her unlucky day to have been caught by this rogue.
"You don't know me?"
Quan Tianyou reached out and took off her mask, and there she was, the woman from that night!
"Why should I know you?"
Su Liuying looked at him with wide eyes, regretting not wearing her glasses while dancing. To calm her nerves when dancing, she took off her glasses and didn't wear contact lenses, so she couldn't see any of the colorful people below and just immersed herself in her dance routine.
Without her glasses, she was as good as blind, and could only see a blurred outline of Quan Tianyou's features, unable to make out his appearance clearly.
Quan Tianyou only saw her misty eyes sending out frequent electric signals towards him, oblivious to the fact that she couldn't see him clearly at all.
"Woman, you really have a bad memory!"
He pushed her into a VIP room, and the sound of locking the door made her more anxious than ants on a hot pan.
"I truly don't know you! Sir, I need to go back out to dance, or else I won't get paid, and my coming here will have been for nothing today!"
Su Liuying was frantic, shoving against Quan Tianyou's body. She rubbed against him unknowingly, sparking a fire within him without realizing it.
"Susu, looks like I should remind you properly! That day you dared to leave behind just a meal ticket and run off!"
Being called Susu by a strange man confused her for a moment, and his words blew her away in disbelief. She moved her lips tentatively, trembling as she asked, "What... What did you say?..."
