"Liuying, I was just looking down from the window and saw you chatting with Lee Ya downstairs. Was it about this matter?"
Tony looked at Su Liuying, trying to glean some clue from her face, to understand why she had changed her mind about not pursuing the matter further.
"Nothing much, we were just talking about some issues with her family."
Su Liuying thought about how Lee Ya had pleaded with her, feeling a strong disdain in her heart. She looked down on people like Lee Ya who dared to do but not to take responsibility.
But thinking about Lee Ya's family situation, she could only shake her head helplessly. She couldn't comprehend Lee Ya's way of life; living so hypocritically must surely be exhausting.
"Liuying, what do you have to talk about with her?"
Tony didn't think that Su Liuying and a woman like Lee Ya would have anything worthwhile to talk about. They were not on the same level at all.
