Several minutes later, Tan Yanli stood outside the room door.
The farewell party was drawing to a close when she realized that both Su Liuying and Lin Runjie had disappeared. As she was looking for them, someone slipped her a note instructing her to come to this room.
She found it odd, but considering the room was just upstairs from the club, she decided to go up and take a look anyway.
"Knock-knock!"
Tan Yanli raised her hand and gently tapped on the door, only to find it swung open at her touch. She glanced at the doorknob and noticed that the door wasn't properly closed but merely ajar.
"How odd, who would do something this pointless?"
Tan Yanli felt that something was off and feared a practical joke, so she hesitated to enter the room.
"Forget it, let's not be curious!"
As she turned to leave, she heard a familiar voice from inside the room, "Oh, why do I feel so terrible!"
