Lin Runjie was a man, and being kissed so firmly by a woman out of the blue left him momentarily stunned. He knew that Tan Yanli liked him, but he could not hurt her. He did not like her and, of course, could not take advantage of her body.
He turned his head to dodge her lips, but she stubbornly refused to let go. With both hands cradling his cheeks, her lips pressed against his once more, kissing him repeatedly.
Her kisses were clumsy—it was her first time being so bold as to initiate a kiss with a man—but she had thrown caution to the wind, and she was willing to give herself to Lin Runjie.
