"Save me! Save me!"
Tan Yanli screamed at the top of her lungs, unwilling to be taken away by the two men. In her heart, she prayed that someone would hear her cries for help and come to her rescue.
"Let her go!"
The deep voice was like music from the heavens, and Tan Yanli excitedly turned her head to see Lin Runjie standing not far away.
"Mr. Lin! Save me!"
Brother Lek was holding Tan Yanli's wrist tightly, and she struggled to shake him off but couldn't.
"Let me go! Let go of me now!"
She fought fiercely and kept slapping at Brother Lek's hand. She even scratched the back of his hand with her nails, but she still couldn't break free.
"Let you go? How could I let a duck that's ready to be eaten fly away?"
Why would Brother Lek let her go? Tan Yanli was the woman he had set his sights on, and he had yet to enjoy such a delicately beautiful woman. He gripped her wrist tightly, not allowing her to escape.
