A few people entered the dining room and took their seats. The kitchen brought out one dish after another, all looking very tempting. Su Liuying looked around and said with a smile, "Grandpa, you had so many dishes prepared, how can we possibly finish them all!"
"These are all Tianyou's favorite dishes. It's rare for him to come over, so I had the kitchen make all of them for him," Quan Tao replied.
Quan Tao glanced at Quan Tianyou, who was nudged by Su Liuying, prompting him to look up at Quan Tao and say, "Thank you, Grandpa!"
With Su Liuying's mediation, the atmosphere began to warm up. Quan Tao started to recount stories from Quan Tianyou's childhood, which were all amusing anecdotes.
"I remember once, he placed a fake caterpillar in his grandmother's shoe, which scared her so much that she cried out for help. His grandmother is terribly afraid of bugs."
Quan Tianyou spent his childhood under the doting care of his grandparents, living happily for several years.
