Liu Hengyuan had just come out of the bathroom, wiping his hair with a dry towel as he sat down on the couch and used the remote to turn on the TV.
He had just found a movie and hadn't been watching for a few minutes when his phone on the coffee table began to ring. He picked it up to see it was a call from Li Youxi. Glancing at the time, it was almost midnight, she had never called him this late before.
He quickly swiped the screen of the phone and answered, "Hello, Youxi, why are you calling so late? Is something wrong?"
"Hengyuan, Hengyuan, I am in so much pain...sob...sob..."
Li Youxi started crying before she could explain clearly, her sobs made Liu Hengyuan anxious, "Youxi, don't cry, tell me quickly what happened?"
He could hear loud noises in the background of the call and Li Youxi's voice was intermittent, which made him even more worried.
"Youxi, where are you? I'll come to find you!"
