Just as Niu Xiaoli and Su Liuying sat silently together, Lin Runjie parked the car and came over, breaking the awkwardness between them.
"Liuying, is this your friend?"
"Oh, yes, we just bumped into each other and had a quick chat."
Su Liuying smiled and replied to Lin Runjie.
"Hello!"
Lin Runjie politely nodded at Niu Xiaoli, and she quickly returned a smile, "Hello!"
She couldn't help but take a few more glances at Lin Runjie, leaning close to Su Liuying's ear to whisper, "Liuying, have you changed boyfriends?"
"What are you talking about!"
Su Liuying was nearly startled by Niu Xiaoli's words. She quickly whispered back, "Don't talk nonsense, he's my boss. I'm just having dinner with him tonight for work."
