About fifteen minutes later, the doctor arrived. Hearing the doorbell, Quan Tianyou breathed a sigh of relief and got up to open the door. He had been trying to lower Su Liuying's fever through physical cooling, but it seemed to have no effect.
"What's the patient's condition?"
Dr. Lin inquired as he walked into the villa.
"She suddenly got a high fever. I used ice packs to cool her forehead, but it didn't work, her temperature is still very high."
"Don't worry, I'll check her out!"
After examining Su Liuying, Dr. Lin gave her a shot to reduce her fever.
"Dr. Lin, I suspect she's feverish from being overly scared."
Tianyou shared Su Liuying's distressing past with the doctor, who nodded in acknowledgment, "Indeed, one can develop a fever as a reaction to a shock.
