Axel gripped her necklace and ran his thumb over her pendant, observing the shock on her face and her moistening eyes, which suggested that she was ready to cry once more.
"Master please, I beg you. I only have that to remind me of my parents. Since I can't go to see them anymore please give it back." Saying this, Lana's voice cracked. Axel played with it and grinned, treating it like a cheap toy.
"Please!" Lana begged, reaching up to take the necklace from his hand, but Axel grabbed her hand with his empty hand. It did not matter to Lana at this point whether he was her master or just some random guy trying to break her.
With the exception of being taken advantage of, she was prepared to endure whatever punishment he planned to meted out. But she felt that taking her necklace would be a big no and a slap in the face.
