"I did nothing, brother, so why are you hurting your sister?" Fiona groaned, shaking with fear. Her brother's eyes were bored into hers, his hands gripping her arm more tightly, and his expression was emotionless and frigid.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to work with my maid or assign her tasks when I am not around? Why do you keep toying with my maid when you have your own?"
Fiona shuddered at his calm yet dangerous tone of voice. With tears streaming down her face, Lana stood there with her hands at the back of her neck, touching the area where she had been injured. She feared that she would receive a harsher punishment if Fiona told Axel what she had done to deserve her punishment, especially since Axel had just hurt her with her necklace.
