Back at the academy for the first half of the academy's term break felt like a lie. Because to Vinnandra, more than a lifetime had passed, so much so she thought she would be entering her second year of Academy.
But reality was harsher, she was still in her first year, and after the break, they would be back to much chargained curriculum on Sphere's, wars, and what not.
The break was shifted earlier than usual. The official reason was that there was a need for students to recover from the weariness of the Hunt. The unofficial reason? Lurking witches and a looming war.
The Supreme Commander was yet to declare an official war, and Vinn wondered why the man was taking his sweet time. At this rate, she would loose her life.
This witch-spy never wrote to her again, at least to congratulate her on the end of the Hunt. Vinn figured things hadn't gone very well with whoever he or she was.
