They were tired, their steps dragging on the ground, heads facing downwards as they walked back to the house. Their bodies were drenched in sweat and blood, a very depressing combination as it dried and stuck on their exposed skin. The spotless floor was dirtied but no one would comment on it. Niss collapsed on the couch, her leg hanging from it as she released a deep sigh, eyes closed.
"That was surprising." she commented.
Astor had heard them talk about attacks and how they were not that unusual but in his two months there he had never witnessed such an event. So the information was pushed in the back of his head all up until now.
