Chapter 22 - Chapter 22

The Himmel Realm...

The Himmel Realm, home of the Gods and angels, protectors of the realm. This realm was ruled by the God of Light and his lovely wife, the Mother of Angels and the Queen of the Gods,

Unfortunately, during the confrontation with the God Killer, the Mother of Angels, Mira, was killed and the God of Light was put in a coma and has been in this coma for centuries.

There are a total of twenty gods living in the Himmel Realm, each of them in control of a specific domain but they are all under the rule of the current ruler of the Himmel Realm.

Astrea went to her mother's domain. Huge stone statues of the blindfolded winged goddess, she was holding a scale and a sword.

At the center of the domain is a huge courtroom. Astrea remembers coming here with her father to visit her mother and has always admired her, wanting to grow up to be a Goddess of Justice like her mother.

She stood before the courtroom clutching the necklace charm Felix had given her. 'This isn't a good idea,' she thought, but she needed to do this, not just because she needed her powers back, but also to see her mother's reaction when she said this.

She took a deep breath and entered the building.

The Goddess of Justice, Zadok, the workaholic goddess was busy passing down judgements to the living.

She is incredibly beautiful with white hair and golden eyes, she holds herself with pride, confidence, and elegance. Her golden aura shone like the sun and on top of her head was a beautiful halo.

Astrea was in awe being in her mother's presence as usual. "State your business," the Goddess said.

"Hello, mom, I see you're doing--"

"State your business," Zadok said more firmly. "As you can see I don't have all day," she said, she didn't look up from the hundreds of scrolls on her desk to see her daughter.

Astrea felt disappointed. "Mom," she said slowly, "do I have a brother?"

The Goddess stopped what she was doing and looked up from her work for the first time. "Who told you?" she demanded in a low voice.

Astrea felt her heart sank. She doesn't reply. "Is it your father?" she demanded getting up from her seat and her aura sparked in rage.

'Dad knows?' Astrea felt like she was in danger. It was confirmed when she saw her mother's sword forming.

Zadok appeared before her ready before she could react and struck her, Astrea closed her eyes ready to feel the pain of being killed, but nothing happened.

She opened her eyes to see a powerful forcefield was protecting her. Zadok looked at her neck and saw the charm.

The Goddess laughed maniacally. "Like father like daughter I see," she said hatefully. The sword disappeared. "What do you want?" she asked.

"Huh?" Astrea said sounding a bit horrified, she hadn't gotten over the fact that her mother had just tried to kill her.

"What do I have to keep your dumb mouth shut?" Zadok exclaimed desperately. "Let me guess you want me to give you more power?" she said. "Free from the law? Money? Have your squad? Your halo? Forget it you can have all of that, just don't tell anyone," she said, she held Astrea's shoulder, squeezing it tightly.

Astrea was so overwhelmed, that she began to cry, but her mother didn't listen to her cries or look at her tears, instead, she composed herself and walked to her workplace taking out a scroll, and held it up, ripping it to shreds.

"You have your powers back now," Zadok said calmly. "I'll also write out a decree for you to have your halo to become a full-fledged angel and you would be the leader of the elemental angels, they would help you in your quest of taking down the God Killer," she said taking out a new scroll and writing out the decree.

She looks up to see Astrea looking heartbroken. "Don't you care about me at all?"

Zadok was irritated. "Stop talking nonsense," she said harshly. "You're lucky I can't kill you or you'd be dead by now," she said coldly and continued to write the decree, once it was done she showed it to Astrea. "There are you happy?"

Astrea didn't reply to her mother but cried more. 'I didn't want any of this,' she thought. 'I didn't think this would happen.'

Zadok became impatient and kicked her out of her domain.

Astrea fell to her knees, the pain of her heart being broken by her mother was still there. She wants to confront her loving father and ask him who her sibling might be, but she's afraid his reaction will be the same as her mother's.

Felix was playing a video game on an expensive PC when he heard the door open behind him. He felt a strong aura filled with anger.

He was playing an online game with other players and didn't want to stop playing. "Felix stop what you're doing this instant!" Astrea snarled.

"Not now, princess," Felix replied, hearing his teammates commenting from his headphones.

"Woah, you've got a girl or something?" one of his teammates said jokingly. "Sounds like she's mad."

"Not a girlfriend," Felix said lightheartedly. "Give me a few minutes," he said to Astrea and continued his game.

He doesn't get to complete the game because Astrea shoots a ball of light at his computer and almost destroys it. "Answer me damn it."

Felix was pissed off, but he calmed down. "And what can I do for you?" he asked still playing his game, he was on mute.

"Why did you make me do that?" Astrea demanded angrily, her aura sparking in a rage, but Felix wasn't scared.

Felix laughed. "I didn't make you do anything," he said. "You had the choice to not tell your mother anything, but you went ahead, what are you blaming me for?"

Astrea began to cry. "I don't think she wants to see me again, she doesn't even care about me anymore," she said.

"Well she's always been like that," Felix said apathetically.

Astrea cried for a while, but she managed to calm herself down. "Don't forget about your end of the deal," he said.

She doesn't reply. "Do you know who my sibling is?" she asked.

"You want to know?" he said. "I thought you wouldn't think about it anymore since you've gotten what you want."

"Tell me," Astrea said.

"You know I don't give out information without a price, but I'll make an exception since you just ruined your relationship with your mother," he said.

Astrea waited patiently. "Your older brother is the Demon General."
