Asmodious and her Enlightened subordinates entered the barrier just like the other group. They were all immediately on guard as they saw the forest landscape, looking around for any signs of life.
'This might be a problem.' Asmodious thought as she could sense several auras heading towards them at very fast speeds
"Everyone, prepare for combat." Asmodious said as she twirled her spear and the others prepared as well. They waited patiently for the creatures to show themselves as they could hear their heavy hooves and loud roars. The creatures in question soon broke through the tree line, boars as large as carriages with cruel red eyes, black fur and three tusks waiting to impale their enemies. Asmodious jumped into the air before kicking off one of the trees towards a boar.

'Wait what?' Asmodious asked in surprise as she didn't gain any exp. She has slain a few holy beasts, under Lucifer's supervision, and she had always gained exp for slaying them. What Asmodious didn't know was that her and other users of holy energy such as Angels cannot absorb demonic energy into their bodies. That is unless a [Angelic Territory] and [Holy Territory] is used to purify the energy first, turning it into holy energy. The boar fell to the ground with Asmodious' spear in it's head, and the rest of the boar ran past. One of the boars trampled over their dead companion and Asmodious had to quickly jumped into the air, clinging onto the tree branch.
The rest of the enlightened ones also attacked the boars with their weapons and avoided the rest. The enlightened ones watched as the boars ran away deeper into the forest.
"It's almost like they are scared....but of what?" One of the enlightened one muttered as she watched the boars run away when they suddenly heard a loud hiss. They could see hundreds of glowing red eyes looking at them from behind the tree lines.
"What the?" A enlightened one muttered in fear as hundreds of large scorpions, around half the size of the boars, scurried out of the tree line. Their carapace was a dark onyx black with a red tattoo of a skull on their backs and both their pincers and tails were blood red in colour. They had sharp fangs in their mouths and small red legs as well as beady red eyes.
'No wonder they ran.' Asmodious thought as she watched the hundreds of scorpions rush out of the forest, climbing trees and running across the ground with incredible speed.
'Should we retreat, but where would we retreat to, even with the map I have no idea where we are and we might run into something even more dangerous along the way. We have no choice but to hold our ground and hope that these bastards will scurry off eventually.' Asmodious thought
"We will stand our ground here." She said
"Yes ma'am!!!" Her subordinates shouted as they prepared to defend themselves
"And remember, preserve your holy energy as much as possible." She warned them, but she doubted they will be able to save much with the amount of enemies. The scorpions attacked first, launching a jet of green liquid from their tails. Everyone quickly scattered, causing most of the liquid to miss and the ones that did get hit were protected by their armours. These armours were crafted by Azazel, with the knowledge from his [War Affinity], he was able to craft powerful weapons and armours. The weapons and armour given to the enlightened ones were tier 5, which made them strong enough to hurt even a tier 5 creature easily, but all of them underestimated the underworld. The demon miasma floating around the realm was constantly attacking the armours and weapon, making them duller and weaker than they originally were. Although it wasn't apparent yet, these equipment will eventually become useless to them and the constant fighting will only make the degradation faster.
Seeing that their armours were able to tank the scorpions attacks, the enlightened ones quickly charged towards them. Asmodious spotted a group of three scorpions and quickly rushed towards them, the scorpions spotted her and launched another jet of liquid and Asmodious easily dodged by jumping into a tree.
'Acid huh, I should end this as quickly as possible.' Asmodious thought as the green liquid melted through a tree. The scorpions climbed up the tree after her and she jumped down towards them, the closest scorpion launched it's stinger towards her, but she simply grabbed it with gauntlet cladded hand, before stabbing the scorpion in the eye.

The other scorpion also attacked as well and Asmodious spun around on the scorpions stinger before jumping off. She safely landed on a tree branch and threw her spear into the head of the scorpion. She then jumped towards one of the scorpions who shot a jet of acid towards her and she covered her face, pushing through the acid towards the scorpion. She covered her hand in holy energy and stab the scorpion in the eye, pulling it out, causing the scorpion to scream, but Asmodious quickly punched it into the eye once more and release a burst of holy energy, killing the creature instantly.
