The next morning, Ye Anran woke up to the sound of her alarm, stretched lazily, and opened her eyes to see Ai Zi standing by the window.
The curtains weren't drawn, and she stood beside them, peeking through a slight gap at the outside world. Hearing the noise, she turned around, revealing a radiant smile, "Anran, you're awake!"
"Morning, Ai Zi," greeted Ye Anran, looking intently at her.
Ai Zi turned her face towards her naturally, pointing to the warm water on the table, "I poured some warm water for you."
"Thank you," Anran replied, and got out of bed, slipped into her slippers, and entered the bathroom.
Recalling that the guest room only had a disposable toothbrush, she stepped out of the bathroom, "I'll go back to my room to brush my teeth and wash up. My clothes are there, and since we're about the same size, you can take a shower. Let's have breakfast together downstairs later."
"Sure," Ai Zi replied with a smile.
