Xi Nan had barely warmed his seat when Si Yuchen called him out with a phone call.
"Si, I haven't caused you any trouble today, or swiped anything. In the middle of the night, can't you let me get some peaceful sleep?"
Suddenly being summoned by Si Yuchen, Xi Nan's little heart trembled.
"Drink with me."
Si Yuchen leaned against the bar, holding a bottle of whiskey that was already half gone.
Feeling favored beyond expectation, Xi Nan scurried over and took a seat.
"Si, what's the good occasion that you're asking me to drink with you?"
In the past, Xi Nan was always left behind, whether it was a group activity or not—the other brothers all thought he was too much of a kid to hang out with them.
Si Yuchen had similarly excluded him in the past, so to be suddenly included today was quite a surprise for him.
"Xi Nan, do you understand women?"
Si Yuchen's voice carried no hint of drunkenness, yet the sober him began to talk nonsense as if he were drunk.
