Gu Xiaonuan arrived just five minutes earlier than Si Yuchen and, just to be safe, greeted the bar again.
If Si Yuchen asked, they had to say that she and Li Lu had arrived very early.
Gu Xiaonuan was meticulous in her actions, yet, she still wasn't as quick as Si Yuchen.
With just one phone call, Si Yuchen would know whether Gu Xiaonuan was at the restaurant she mentioned and that she was brushing him off.
Gu Xiaonuan sat for half a day, and not even a ghost of Si Yuchen was seen.
"We haven't been played, have we?"
She and Li Lu went to great lengths to get to the restaurant within ten minutes, yet Si Yuchen arrived nonchalantly late.
Li Lu also felt like they had been tricked.
