Just when Gu Xiaonuan was hesitant and undecided, her phone rang.
Seeing the unfamiliar number, Gu Xiaonuan immediately hung up and shoved it back into her bag.
"Ten years ago, I didn't know you, you didn't belong to me..."
No sooner had she thrown it into her bag than it began to ring again with reckless abandon.
Gu Xiaonuan looked up and met Si Yuchen's questioning gaze.
"It's not that I'm not answering, and it's not your buddy Shen Liang. I don't recognize that number; I bet it's another one of those insurance sales calls."
Shen Liang's number had been blocked by Si Yuchen last time. In his words, Shen Liang was a ferocious beast, not even his calls could be answered.
Si Yuchen's gaze was intense as he stared fixedly at Gu Xiaonuan's bag.
Gu Xiaonuan got the hint, "Here, check it yourself. If you want to answer it, go ahead."
She hadn't lied and simply handed her phone over to Si Yuchen for him to see for himself.
