"Driver, why is it a red light again?"
Gu Xiaonuan suddenly received a call from Li Lu, saying she'd had an accident.
Before she could ask for details, the call was disconnected. When she called back, she was told it was a newsstand and although Li Lu had made the call, she had already left.
"Don't you know the traffic around here?" the driver laughed. "Nowadays, it's basically jammed once a day, and each jam lasts a whole day. I estimate it will take at least two hours to get to Lin City at the earliest."
That was an optimistic estimate; if the traffic was really bad, it could take three hours just to get there.
Her heart sank. She had no idea how Li Lu was doing, and the police were definitely not an option. She had to risk going to Lin City herself to find Li Lu.
But at this rate, in three hours, Li Lu could have gone on an international trip.
