Amber would have never imagined the fate ahead of her.
From her position in front of Sophie, there was no way she could see Sophie's expression. Plus she was overly confident. She thought she was comparable to Jacklin Roberts.
So, upon hearing the photographer and his staff clapping and cheering , she actually thought it was for her.
After all Sophie was behind her and she was blocking her.
"Okay, Let's shoot the next set" ordered the photographer.
Because of their clothes, Sophie mostly ended up standing behind Amber , even when they stood side by side, Amber was led. This made Amber quite Proud.
After the final set of photos were done, the photographer and staff couldn't help but applaud Sophie's amazing performance.
Amber acted like the supermodel as she stood in front of Sophie , accepting all the cheers for herself and she was the one leaving the studio first, leaving a chance for the photographer to approach Sophie.
"That model is so annoying, however I will point it out, once the Magazine's front cover is released and everyone sees the comparison and difference between you two , she will experience a big slap to her face. There will be plenty of people helping you to teach her a lesson" The photographer was indeed an senior in the industry. Staff like this were not unusual to him.
"Thank you!" Sophie smiled.
"No need. You were really the most skilled model I have ever worked with. I can't deny you were on the same level as some international supermodel" The photographer raised a thumbs up at her, "The weekly publication would be released next Wednesday. Look forward to it, you will definitely ignite the oriental trend"
"That's not something that I can decide, all I did was to give my best" Sophie felt that the industry was not short of hardworking people. There were so many artists with talents and skills. But many half way to fame.
Apart from hardwork, luck was an very important factor in this industry.
When she returned to the waiting room , Amber jumped right into Nathan's embrace as she described how she had received an applause by the staff and the photographer.
After listening to her, Nathan wrapped his arms around his waist. He knew that she would succeed.
However, he had no idea that the applause had nothing to do with Amber.
At this time , Sophie also entered the room, upon seeing her, the staff that was there in the studio during the shoot raised his thumb at her, "You are really the best model I have seen so closely"
Amber didn't understand what he was saying, after all her Spanish was limited, but Nathan understood that he was actually praising Sophie.
Most importantly, the staff knew Amber didn't understand Spanish , so assuming Nathan also didn't understand, he looked at Amber in extreme disgust as he said, "I really can't believe that woman is your colleague , she can't possibly be called an model. She has no professional skills at all and she thinks of herself to highly, it's bad enough that she doesn't understand Spanish that she even though that we all were praising her. There is surely something wrong with her"
After speaking the staff left. Sophie quickly turned to look at Nathan's expression, as the corner of her lips slightly curved up.
"Amber, are you sure the photographer praised you !?" Nathan asked.
"Nathan, Don't you believe me at all !?" Amber nodded her head in certainty, "What I said was all real, if you don't believe me then go and ask the photographer. Nathan have trust in me. This time, I am definitely going to revive Mystic" Amber said confidently.
Nathan stared at Sophie's back, because of his couldn't think it through what he heard the staff say just now. His heart felt Uneasy.
But the front cover had already been shot. Even if Amber didn't standout, at least she appeared in an international magazine publication. This would still be beneficial towards the top ten model awards.
Originally, the discussion about the shoot had already ended. But Lisa entered the room and excitedly said to Sophie, "Do you know what I just heard , the photographer said in the solo shoot Amber looked like a temptress"
Upon hearing her , Amber wiggled out of Nathan's embrace and walked over to Lisa , she raised her hand with the intention of hitting her.
Luckily, Sophie's reaction was quick as she pulled Lisa out of the way as she grabbed onto Amber's wrist.
"What do you think you are doing !?"
"If you have the guts, tell her to repeat what she just said" Amber said threateningly as she shook her hand lose from Sophie's grip as she pointed at Lisa with a sneer, "Sophie, Don't be a sore loser, I know you aren't satisfied with having to stand at the background today. But you were wearing black , so there is no choice."
"Wasn't it because you snatched the clothes !?" Lisa once again swapped position with Sophie , stepping in front to protect her.
"Amber, I am not going to waste my time with you anymore. Wheather the photography team impressed with you or disappointed by you , you will find out next Wednesday" said Sophie.
"Fine. When that days comes, you will see whose side the public are on" After speaking Amber threw her hand across the make-up table and swiped everything onto the ground. Glass shattered across the floor, some of the small pieces flew towards Sophie's legs and left few cuts at her legs.
Upon seeing this , Lisa erupted, "Amber, What are you doing !? You have injured Sophie's legs. Do you know the worth of those legs. You better Apologize"
"Apologize !?" Amber looked at Lisa like she had said something ridiculous, "You are dreaming"
"You...." Lisa was furious.
"Lisa!" Sophie held her back, "Give a phone call to my insurance company, and ask them to come and collect the evidence. There is no need to apologize, I am covered by insurance. However, the insurance company won't let this matter off so easily. I am sure they will sue the person that injured me"
Upon hearing Amber's words , Nathan's face turned pale, "What do you mean by that !?"
"What I mean is, My legs are covered by an expensive insurance policy. If Amber doesn't apologize, then I will have to let the insurance company handle it" Sophie was clear.
"Sophie. I never thought, you could be this malicious" Nathan said to Sophie, "It was only an accident"
Hearing him call it an accident, Sophie turned around, grabbed the bottle of makeup remover on the table and smashed it in front of Amber.
Similarly, Amber's legs now had small cuts on them.
"This was also an accident, my hands were slippery"
"You....!" Nathan anger was out of control.
Seeing Nathan's enraged expression, Sophie remained calm as usual, "Are you going to be upset about my unintended mistake !? If that's the case, aren't you more malicious than me !?"
"Sophie , Let make a bet. The magazine will be released next Wednesday, if my level of support is higher than your's, the you better retreat from the modeling industry and never take a step back in again" Amber impulsively declared a war on Sophie.
Sophie responded with a slight smile, "Who do you think you are !? You want me to retreat from the modeling industry, because of someone like you....!? You really think highly of yourself"
After speaking, Sophie left the room with Lisa.
As they were leaving, they heard Amber gave out a frustrated scream.
"Sophie , I am so sorry, today I die know how to judge the situation" Lisa apologizes to Sophie.
"It's okay. Even if it wasn't because of you, Amber still would have found a way to cause trouble for me" Sophie responded in an indifferent manner, "Let's just leave everything for Wednesday! Let's wait and see how Amber will return in low Spirits"
After leaving Mystic, Sophie found Kathy's car parked outside. Their eyes met but they didn't say anything.
As they pass by each other, Kathy said to Sophie, "The day Mystic magazine is released is the day you will leave the modeling industry"
"Looks like you have a lot of faith in Amber!" Sophie replied.
"Even though she hadn't had as much as exposure as you , she already has experienced internationally and has gained extra points from the judges of the top ten model awards. In comparison, you lost all value" Kathy said ruthlessly.
"Really !? Then let's wait for the results" Sophie wasn't taken aback at all as she responded calmly. Her words were Strong.
Nothing dark in the entertainment industry was going to crush her.
Kathy glared at Sophie with full of hatred. Her desire to destroy Sophie was getting stronger every moment.
An artist that could not be controlled, wheather tied up or free, always posed a hidden danger. Only when she stepped all over them and ensure they couldn't get back up would she be completely at ease.
Especially, because of the reason that Sophie had such a strong hatred towards her and her brother.
"Sophie, there is something strange about Kathy's expression" Lisa turned around to gaze at Kathy, she felt a bit worried.
"Right now, she wants so badly to crush me" Sophie understood. She knew how the siblings hated her, "If I really fail with the magazine this time, I can imagine what a blick future I will have"
"It won't happen. Ashley and I both have faith in you! Plus , even if you do fail, it doesn't matter, you still have big boss" Lisa replied.
Speaking of Noah, Sophie had just remembered that Noah had told her that he would come and pick them up.
So after getting not far from Mystic, she picked up her phone to call Noah.
On the other side of the call, Noah laughed as he told her to turn around.
Around the corner a Linkin Limousine was standing under a tree. A tall man leaned against the car , his fit body was exengtutated by the black and white striped retro suit he was wearing. He didn't have a smile on his face , but the contour of his face were soft. The mole on his right ear was dazzling.
Sophie looked at him dumbfounded. This emperor like man should be surrounded by an army of people, but for her , he was willing to stand alone in a quiet corner.
"What's wrong !?" Noah asked gently.
Sophie shook her head , "Nothing. I was just surprised, that's all"
"Is it because you are too tired from the magazine shoot !?" Noah looked at her up and down. He noticed that she had cuts on her legs and his pupil dilated in anger, "What happened !?"
Lisa was about to explain when Sophie cut in, "Noah... Let's go home. I have something to tell you"
Noah glanced at Lisa, it was obvious of what had happened. For this , he was going to make them pay for it.
But not just yet.
Afterwards, they all boarded the limousine.
However, the entire journey Sophie was nervous and quiet. Noah also didn't question her.
When he finally reached the manner, he carried her in his arms straight to the bedroom, Now it was just the two of them.
Noah placed Sophie in bed and instructed the maids to bring the medicine box.
Sophie watched as Noah knelt on the ground to apply the medicine.
She could not control the rush of emotions she was feeling in her heart, as she instinctively clunked to his neck.
In a nervous but stable voice, she said, "I see everything clearly, and I understand everything now. Noah I like you and I want you. I thought that I won't be able to like someone in such a period of time , I even denied these feelings I had in my heart, but now, when I face Nathan and Amber, although I am still angry, my heart no longer hurts"
After saying this , Sophie slowly loosened her arms as she looked into Noah's dazzling eyes , as she enunciated each word properly, "I know everything I have now is Because of you, so... I like you and I want you. I want the entire of you.
"Can you give it all to me !?" Questioned Noah.
No woman could make these words so touching and natural. As they previously promised to be truthful to each other, Sophie did not hide her feelings and said everything straightforwardly, "I want you"
After hearing her confession, Noah looked up as he grabbed onto his cheek, as he forcefully pushed her onto the bed.
he was going to use her actions to express how overjoyed he was feeling inside, "I will give myself to you , only you" Noah responded with affection.
Sophie was startled for a moment, before she wrapped her arms around Noah's waist tightly and passionately responded to his kiss.
She closed her eyes and savoured the feelings of his tongue dancing with her's.
Sophie didn't notice when it happened, but she suddenly noticed that her skirt has been lifted up and the back of her waist was wrapped in warm embrace.
The firy passion in her heart was slowly ignited. She didn't want to Care or worry about anything. At this moment, only thing she truly wanted was to truly become his wife and become one with him.
As it was still daytime, the sunlight was strong. The raise of light beaming into the room , allowed Sophie to see Noah's body. It was eminating with a healthy glow. Her face flushed red.
But she was not left with much time to react because, Noah's kiss was slowly following a line of her collerbone, down her body , passed her curves , eventually reaching her lower abdomen.
Sophie was nervous. Even though they have been this intimate on their first wedding night, it was different this time around.
All she could do was to immerse herself in his kiss.
After sometimes, when Sophie was expecting to feel a pain,just like her first wedding night, it didn't come.
Noah kissed her collerbone as he asked, "Next two days do you have any jobs to do !?"
"I have to ask Ashley" Sophie responded.
"Tell her not to arrange anything"
Noah moved away from her collerbone, and looked straight into her eyes, "Because, I might make it impossible for you to get up from bed for the next three days"
"What about your job !?" Sophie asked.
"My Most important job right now is you"
Noah once again locked lips with Sophie, in between his kisses , he looked at her with a narrow smile and asked, "Do you want me to enter now !?"
She blushed slightly, but nodded her head.
