Chapter 106 - Slave Dealers

The man's eyes sharpened and his hand grasped the sword tightly seeing their number, and by their attire, he doubted they were thieves or thugs.

 

Slave dealers? He wondered but didn't ponder on it much. What he needed to do won't change. Setting his stance, he readied himself to face them.

 

The other side didn't slow upon setting an eye on him, however. They were quick to draw out their weapons as well and prompt their horses forward. Sindbad had no doubt that their target was them by that reaction.

 

The one leading the group was a fairly slim man, with a shaggy black beard, fine upturned mustaches, and narrow dark slinting eyes that strongly resembled those of a fox. Despite what his shallow cheeks may imply, Sindbad could tell he had a strong build.

 

The leader raised his sword as he approached the man, smirking broadly as if he were sure Sindbad would be able to do nothing from his spot.
