Zarqa had to admit that Ali Baba was a fast learner. It didn't take long for her to get done with syllables and start teaching him how to write words.
For someone who didn't seem to find it useful, he was diligent in his efforts.
Sindbad couldn't help but get interested in it as well, giving his own tips and tricks whenever Ali Baba found it hard to remember how to write a certain word.
" This really brings me back. I used to hate writing lessons as well," he tried to encourage the boy as he failed yet again to get the spelling of a word right. " Don't feel sorry, it takes practice… and patience." He added after some thoughts.
" Too bad I don't have much appreciation for either," Ali Baba erased the wrong word and started over as Zarqa watched him while grinding some of the herbs she got along the way, pointing some mistakes to his strokes once in a while.
