Sindbad laid on the slab that was supposed to be his new bed for the length of his stay there, his head resting over his arms, and staring at the ceiling while mulling over the situation they were in.
He had made a grave mistake.

He should have gone with them. He should have protected them. He shouldn't have underestimated the slave dealers. And because of his miscalculation, they ended up in there.
