Ali Baba walked back and forth in his little cell, inspecting every bar, every corner, every crack on the walls.
He climbed over the slab of limestone serving as his bed and tried to peer through the small window. Though he could reach it if he stood on the tips of his toes, he could never get out through it for the bars were secured tightly and he had no hope of even making them budge.
Heaving a sigh, he turned around and dropped onto the slab, leaning over his palm as he brooded over his situation.
Sindbad, who was laid back on his own slab, facing the boy and watching his activity nonchalantly, finally spoke. " Giving up already?"
" I'm not!" Ali Baba retorted. " I will definitely find a way out of here! There has to be one!" He ran one hand over his face as he looked down, squeezing his mind for an idea.
