Chapter 114 - Chapter 113: Heavenly

A while ago...

"What the hell is this...?"

Irina couldn't help but mutter in disbelief as she watched the battle unfold. This was no ordinary confrontation—this was something beyond the scope of what even a professional assassin like her would dare to engage in.

And the most shocking part?

There, amidst the chaos...

...a damn cook was absolutely thriving in the midst of it!

Things took a drastic turn when Kaede unleashed her full rage on Tsuna. Irina winced as she watched the scene play out.

Yet...

Somehow, Tsuna had pulled off a trick that fooled everyone, transforming into a wooden log at the last second.

"Karasuma, who the hell is he? Are you really sure he's not a magician?"

"...I don't know," Karasuma admitted, his voice tinged with uncertainty. He, too, was shaken to the core.

His gaze remained fixed on Tsuna, a complex mix of confusion and awe clouding his expression as he murmured, "Just what are you?"

Then...

A thunderous clap reverberated through the air, causing Irina to cringe. Secondhand embarrassment washed over her, and she couldn't help but feel her own rear grow warmer in sympathy. Her face flushed as she cursed under her breath, "That pervert... He's definitely enjoying this!"

Her anger flared, cheeks burning even more as she fumed.

"...!"

Meanwhile, Kaede snapped back to reality, her fury igniting. She immediately lashed out with her tentacles, aiming to strike Tsuna as she shouted, "You fucking perve—Mhm!"

But she was too slow.

With a lightning response, Tsuna quickly shoved a concoction of foul-smelling food he placed in his pocket—one he had been experimenting with—right into Kaede's mouth.

"Kuhak!"

The suddenness of it left her gagging.

At the same moment, Korosensei, now fully composed, took advantage of the distraction and swiftly moved behind her. His tentacles squirmed in ecstasy as he saw his chance to take Kaede's tentacles at this exact moment!

To everyone's surprise...

Korosensei didn't have to intervene. Kaede's entire body suddenly seized up as if a jolt of electricity had surged through her, sending a tingling sensation rippling through her nervous system.

It felt as though invisible tentacles were constricting her, and she crumpled to the ground, a helpless sound escaping her lips, "Ahhh...!"

"..."

The silence that followed was loud.

The students could only gape, mouths opening and closing like fish out of water, as Kaede's voice echoed through the air, lingering far longer than anyone was comfortable with.

Korosensei's whole expression turned slightly pinkish as he hastily moved to remove the tentacles.

"...I remember Terasaka screaming like he was in hellish pain."

"Yeah..."

"But why does she sound like..."

A murmur spread among the students, their cheeks flushing as they exchanged glances. Nagisa's face was bright red from embarrassment and couldn't help but mutter, "She was in pain..."

"...probably heavenly pain..."

He added, his voice tinged with an awkward mix of discomfort and curiosity.

"Hmm, this is a bit confusing..."

Tsuna murmured, his gaze fixed on Kaede's figure on the ground, her body still trembling from the aftershocks of whatever he had just fed her.

He glanced at the shattered jar in his hand, the remnants of his latest culinary experiment oozing out onto the ground.

Tsuna had taken slices of perfectly grilled beef, then in a moment of wild creativity—or perhaps madness—had drenched them in a chaotic mixture of citrus juices, peanut butter, honey, and a generous coating of MSG.

The result was an abomination that defied conventional cooking methods.

Tsuna had been bored of the usual recipes and had sought to push the boundaries, creating something that would either bring someone to Jesus or drag them down to the deepest pits of hell and meet Satan.

Watching Kaede's reaction, he couldn't help but wonder aloud, "So, is this a success or a failure?"

As the battle drew to a close and Korosensei had successfully extracted the tentacles from Kaede's body, the tension in the air finally began to dissipate.

The students, who had been watching the chaotic scene unfold with nervousness slowly eased up as they started to gather around.

Their eyes shifted between the battered Tsuna and Kaede on the ground

"S-Senpai, are you okay?"

Rio's voice trembled with concern as she hurried over to Tsuna, pulling out a handkerchief.

She gently wiped away the thin stream of blood that had trickled from his mouth and nose, her brows knitted in worry.

"It's fine," Tsuna began, reaching for the handkerchief to finish the job himself, but before he could, he felt the sudden embrace from behind.

His lips twitched slightly as he turned to see Hinano clinging to him, her eyes filled with concern, glistening with unshed tears.

"Tsuna-senpai," Hinano's voice quivered, and it seemed like she was on the verge of breaking down. "Please, don't take your life lightly by doing such dangerous stunts again. You should prioritize your life above anyone else's!"

"...?"

However, just as quickly, Tsuna caught sight of a fleeting smirk on Hinano's face as she glanced at Rio.

Her eyes and smirk convey her victory over some unspoken competition between them.

"...I'm no—" Tsuna tried to explain, but before he could finish, Rio suddenly wrapped her arms around him as well.

The unexpected double embrace made Tsuna sigh deeply, feeling a mix of exasperation and resignation.

As the two girls clung to him, Tsuna mumbled under his breath, "I just want my commission..."

"Excuse me, um... are you sure Kaede-chan is alright now?"

A nervous student voiced the question on everyone's mind as they all stared at Kaede, who lay sprawled on the ground.

"..."

Looking at her state made everyone feel shiver down their spine.

Her cheeks were flushed, and foamy bubbles were spilling from the corners of her mouth. Her eyes had rolled back leaving only the whites visible.

All eyes then slowly shifted to Tsuna, their gazes filled with a mix of horror and confusion.

"...Senpai, what the hell did you feed her?"

Itona finally broke the silence, voicing the unspoken question that lingered in the air.

The group's collective attention was fixated on Tsuna, who merely shrugged nonchalantly.

"Well..."

He gently pried himself free from the clutches of the two girls, who immediately started bickering behind him.

"..."

The rest of the class glanced briefly at Rio and Hinano, who were now on the verge of a full-blown argument, but quickly decided to ignore them, focusing instead on the more pressing issue at hand.

Tsuna glanced at Kaede's prone form and let out a low, unsettling giggle, the kind that sent chills down their spines—a sound they had become all too familiar with.

"Kekeke... it's something disgusting," he replied, his tone filled with a twisted sort of amusement.

No shit...

The students exchanged uneasy glances, completely speechless.

They didn't need Tsuna to tell them that—the evidence was right in front of them!

Kaede's current state was more than enough proof that whatever he had shoved down her throat was absolutely terrible.

"Then, I guess she's fine now..."

Nagisa sighed in relief, but his relief was short-lived.

His eyes suddenly narrowed with determination as he turned to face Korosensei.

"Korosensei, why don't you tell us now? About your past, and why Kaede seems to hate you so much she wants you dead?"

"..."

The atmosphere in the grass field instantly turned frigid.

Everyone's gaze locked onto Korosensei, including Karasuma and Irina, who had quietly moved closer.

"..."

However, Korosensei remained silent for a moment.

He looked around at the expectant faces of his students, then exhaled deeply—a rare gesture of weariness from the usually energetic creature.

His voice, when he finally spoke, was soft, "Let's wait until Kayano-san recovers..."

"Ahh..."

"...You're right..."

A murmur of agreement rippled through the group.

Their attention shifted back to Kaede, lying on the ground in a pitiful state.

As they glanced at her, a few of them couldn't help but throw a subtle, blaming look at Tsuna, who stood off to the side, appearing indifferent to the silent accusations.
