Chapter 107 - Chapter 106: Everything was an act?

"Murderer?"

"Is she really talking about Korosensei?"

Confused murmurs rippled through the group as the students exchanged uncertain glances. Their eyes drifted back to Korosensei, who stood silently, his usual goofy and comical demeanor played in their minds.

They couldn't associate the image of the lighthearted teacher they had come to know with the word "murderer."

"Kayano-san, what in the world...?"

Korosensei's voice wavered with genuine confusion, his beady eyes fixed on the writhing tentacles emerging from behind Kaede.

But Kaede's expression remained cold as she took in their bewilderment. A scoff escaped her lips, "Sorry, but my name isn't Kaede Kayano. I'm Akari Yukimura... Aguri Yukimura's little sister."

"...!"

Korosensei let out a light gasp at the revelation which further confused the other students as they were familiar with that name.

"Yukimura..."

"Wait, is she talking about Yukimura-sensei?"

"Yukimura-sensei's little sister?"

The murmur of shock spread quickly through the students of Class 3-E. Aguri Yukimura had been their beloved teacher before Korosensei took over.

To now hear that Kaede—no, Akari Yukimura—was her younger sister left them reeling. The revelation only deepened the confusion, as somehow Kaede, who had always seemed so cheerful, harbored a deep-seated hostility toward Korosensei.

"You understand now, don't you?"

Kaede's eyes narrowed, brimming with a loathing so intense it seemed to scorch the air around her, "Murderer..."

"..."

The atmosphere grew thick with tension pressing down on everyone.

The students struggled to associate this Kaede—cold, cruel, and filled with hatred—with the one they had known. Her expression, once warm and cheerful, was now twisted into something foreign, almost as if it belonged to a different person entirely.

The contrast was jarring, leaving them speechless as they tried to make sense of the situation.

Had she been acting the whole time?

If so, what about the relationships they had built over the semester? Were those just part of the act too?

"I guess there's no use crying over spilled milk..." Kaede shrugged, her tone almost flippant as she accepted the failure of her assassination attempt on the one she despised most—Korosensei.

But before the weight of her words could fully sink in...

"Ah... the kimchi..."

A deep sigh cut through the tension, starkly contrasting with the heavy silence that had settled over the group.

"Huh?"

The students turned, bewildered, to see their new teacher, Tsuna, gazing at the crumbled remains of the warehouse with an expression of genuine pity.

"I didn't realize Tsuna-senpai was..."

"A bit of a fool?"

"Yeah..."

"Maybe he took the wrong medicine today..."

The students were left speechless, their eyes darting between the destroyed warehouse and Tsuna.

The reddish liquid, a sign of their ruined kimchi, slowly seeped out from the debris, adding a sense of loss to the already tense atmosphere.

"What a waste of time and effort..."

Tsuna lamented, his voice tinged with genuine regret.

The students exchanged incredulous glances, looking at him as if he were completely out of touch with reality. Here they were, standing amidst a crisis, and all their new teacher could think about was the ruined kimchi?

They couldn't help but wonder:

Is this really what he cares about right now?

"You bastard..."

Kaede's voice trembled with a mix of rage and disbelief, her eyes narrowing into slits as she glared at Tsuna. Veins pulsed visibly at her temples, a sign of the intense fury boiling within her.

She had been ready to leave, the pain from using her tentacles still searing through her body, but Tsuna's dismissive comment rooted her to the spot.

The casualness of his remark felt like a slap in the face. She had just revealed her true identity, her deep-seated hatred, and the dark reasons behind her actions—only to have it brushed aside as if it were nothing.

It was as if her suffering and the justice she sought were a joke!

How dare he...

"You can kill Korosensei just fine, yet you stand there doing nothing about him. Are you fucking insane? That monster could destroy the world, and all you care about is your ridiculous principle of not killing anyone with food?"

Her voice cracked with the force of her anger, every word laced with venom as she lashed out at Tsuna.

"Huh? You're talking to me?"

He turned to face her, scratching his head awkwardly, seemingly unfazed by the storm of emotions directed at him.

"..."

The atmosphere grew even quieter, the tension almost suffocating, as Kaede's voice cut through the air, her anger flaring uncontrollably toward Tsuna.

Tsuna, who had been trying to maintain a gentle facade since he got paid a lot, felt his patience snapping.

"Listen," he began, his voice edged with annoyance as he scratched his head once more, this time with clear frustration.

"I just barely got here, and now I'm dragged into this whole mess. I'm the victim here, alright?"

His words hung in the air, "Besides, explain it to me, because I must have missed the part where it was supposed to be my fucking problem..."

"Y-you...!!!"

Kaede's eyes widened in disbelief, her heart pounding so hard she could barely breathe.

Her anger surged, nearly overwhelming her, and she had to fight the urge to leap at Tsuna right then and there.

"What the...?"

Meanwhile, the other students blinked in disbelief at the sudden shift in character.

The man they had thought to be gentle and kind had revealed a much harsher, unfiltered side.

It seemed that not only had Kaede been hiding her true self, but their new teacher had been acting all along as well!

"This crazy fucker..."

Terasaka muttered under his breath, his tone a mix of disbelief and reluctant admiration. He was left speechless, yet a part of him felt relieved.

Surely, after seeing this side of Tsuna, the fangirls in the class would finally back off.

Right?

However...

"Wait a minute..."

His relief was short-lived as his expression twisted into one of incredulity. He glanced around and noticed something that defied all logic.

"Why the hell are you guys looking at him like that?"

"Rio-chan..." one of the girls murmured, her eyes sparkling.

Another sighed, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush, "Hinano..."

"Yeah... I think I fell in love again..."

"To think that we fell in love twice with the same person..."

Hinano added, her gaze fixed on Tsuna with a mix of admiration and excitement.

The girls were gazing at Tsuna as if he were the most fascinating person in the world, their expressions filled with amazement—and, to Terasaka's utter shock, a renewed sense of infatuation.

For them, gentle and kind men were attractive, sure, but only if they were handsome.

The truth was, they didn't really care for nice guys all that much.

But a handsome guy? That was a different story.

Yet, when it came to the toxic men who didn't give a damn about anyone but themselves? They were completely head over heels.

Who cared if he might one day disappear without a word, off to buy milk and never return? What mattered was that he was attractive—both in looks and in his unapologetically selfish personality.

"Hmph..."

Kaede scoffed, her face flushed with anger, the red tint stark against her pale skin.

Her frustration was palpable as she turned to Korosensei, her voice laced with venom, "I'll let you know where to find me. Be sure to come, so we can finish this. I'll shred you to pieces..."

With that, Kaede launched herself into the air, her tentacles propelling her with blinding speed.

Her figure blurred as she vanished into the distance, leaving the entire class in stunned silence, their minds reeling from the sudden and shocking turn of events.

Which one is the real Kaede?

That question weighed heavily on their minds as they stared at the spot where she had vanished, the tension in the air still palpable.

But as they turned their gaze to Tsuna, who simply shrugged his shoulders with a nonchalant air, another question began to surface in their thoughts.

And which one is the real Tsuna?
