Few who knew enough about our strength and respective fighting styles gave Qiao Shixin much of a chance to win, so this duel would be held in one of the normal courts rather than inside the Challenge Hall. It seemed that Dragon Elder Qiao was not the officiator, probably for the same reason.
Once we actually started the fight, though, I did have to give him a little credit. He was an Earth Aura user, and like me he was able to use a mix of elemental and non-elemental techniques. Most of the experience and knowledge of Earth Aura fighting styles came from Gao Rong, who used his element 100% defensively. Qiao Shixin was the exact opposite, going 100% offensive.
