One nice thing in this world about not being sure what to do while waiting for something else to happen, was that when in doubt, I could always cultivate. So, it wasn't hard for me at all to pass time until sundown, at which point I knocked on the door of Bing Hei's building again. Once I invited him inside, I quickly explained about the book. Bing Hei didn't react too well.
"Shokoya was planning something like what he did since our expedition into the Library? No…maybe he found this book and it inspired him to the course he took. Either way, he played you real hard, handing it to you just like that but having you promise not to look at it. As a taunt to you?
