Chapter 125 - Four Leaf Cup Commences

In a few hours, we were directed to an amphitheater for an overall competitor's briefing on tournament procedures. There, we learned the general area of the complex was divided into five overall sections. Four of these were designated areas for the preliminaries. These were held separately, with the individual sects given a large amount of discretion in determining their own prelim's format. Regardless of how it was decided, though, only 16 disciples from each sect would advance to the main tournament whether in the Lower Earth, Upper Earth, or Spirit Division. Each prelim section was called a "courtyard" while the grand arenas in the center where the main tournaments would take place was called the Four Leaf Castle. So, the other areas were accordingly called Azure Courtyard, Library Courtyard, Iron Courtyard, and Rising Sun Courtyard.
