The closest I could come to describing the sensation of absorbing the knowledge of how to use a Divine Rank technique so rapidly, was, well…I'd been in the zone before. I'd been in the zone when I'd finally beaten that highly seeded player in the semi-pro tournament where I'd eventually reached the final match. Increasing my understanding by this spiritual method at such a high rate of efficacy was like that feeling, times a hundred or more. It was incredible, and dare I say it, euphoric even.
I never actually requested for food and drink, but whenever my need for them became great enough to override my "learning high," I'd always spot a generous portion of both nearby.
