Chapter 127 - 126

"For a man who can throw his own mother away, how difficult can it be to abandon his wife? You will abandon Adelina in order to survive. Mark my words."

Although he was escaping with his tail between his legs, Cedric could not let go of his feelings for Adelina. 

Every word that Cedric spit out bothered Ethan. If it was only a bother to him, then Ethan could have dealt with it. However, Cedric was using Adelina to provoke him.

"Just as you have thrown her away yourself, Your Highness?"

Cedric's scream burst out through the torrential rain. He brandished his sword as if he were going to slice Ethan into pieces, but the men around Cedric did their best to hold him back.

Just as Ethan had not changed, neither did Cedric.

"You should return to the Palace."

Cedric's soldiers withdrew in the pouring rain. Once it was all over, Ethan let out an exhausted sigh.
