Chapter 146 - Unexpected Sirius

November 1994

12 Grimmauld Place

Hearing Sirius praising Dumbledore, a glint flashed through his eyes. Even so he did not respond and remained quiet.

Sirius unaware of Harry's thought continued, "Harry, look, I understand that all what Dumbledore does… does not makes sense. Even so, how could you take him as your enemy?"

"Was he not the one who helped you and me while escaped Hogwarts? Even if he made the wrong choice of placing you at your aunt's home, you cannot ignore that he was the one who rescued you from Godric's hollow?"

"Similarly, everything did must have had a reason. You should have given him the chance to explain yourself," he added.

Harry remained unresponsive. He was still not able to believe that Sirius was talking like this… taking Dumbledore's side. Sirius not understanding him was something he had never expected.

Sirius sighed, "Forget about Dumbledore."

"Why did you not contact moony even after all of this happened?" Asked Sirius.

Harry's voice was eerily cold, "I was also wondering the same thing, Sirius."

"That when everything that is happening is all over the news from the moment my name came out of Goblet why has Remus not tried to contact me?"

"He did not even ask for my well being. Why Sirius?"

This was a question; Sirius had no answer. He tried to stammer some answer but remained incoherent.

Harry sighed, "Forget it Sirius. We will talk about it later."

"Probably when Remus is present too. Maybe he can answer the question."

He continued, "Other than holding a little Black reunion, my other purpose to call all of you here was because, I am about to instate Andromeda back as member of the Black family."

"She had spent more than enough time being disowned," he added.

Andromeda's eyes widened a little in shock.

"Harry," she stammered. "This…"

"Say no more, Mrs. Tonks," Harry interrupted.

"This is what you deserve," he added. "No… for Black family to reclaim its lost glamour, this is what Black family needs."

Harry raised his phoenix wand, "I Harry James Potter as Lord Black hereby reverse the decision of removing Andromeda Tonks nee Black from Black family. From this moment, she along with her future bloodline are proudly accepted as the member of the black family. Andromeda Tonks nee Black will have the same access to the Black family magic as any other daughter of the Black family."

"I swear this upon my magic and life."

With Harry's declaration, there was a flash of light around Andromeda and she felt her broken magic connection to the black family being repaired. She felt her connection to the house wards being renewed. She felt exhilarated.

"Harry, thank you," she said with almost tears in her eyes.

Harry shook his head, "No, Mrs. Tonks."

"Even though I am Lord Black but you have more right on the Black family than me," he added.

Andromeda nodded in daze while Sirius and Narcissa both had happy smiles on their faces.

"I believe that you siblings would like some personal time," said Harry. "You three can enjoy your little reunion."

November 1994

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Few more days had gone by since the Black reunion. The past few days had been unexpectedly calm. The first task of Triwizard tournament was approaching and its preparation was in full swing.

Due to the limitation of the magical binding, Harry had no involvement in the task and Minerva was the one responsible to it.

She coordinated with Ludo Bagman and Barty Crouch Sr. in organising the task. These two or anyone from the ministry made no unnecessary comments. The 'special overseer' was forgotten and even Lucius remained quiet.

The only thing that ministry told Minerva was that on the day of task, dozens of aurors would be stationed on Hogwarts' ground as a measure of security.

The other unexpected thing was the quiet from Dumbledore. Other than place where he was bound to do things because of the magical binding, Dumbledore made no attempts to intervene with whatever Minerva was doing. He had made no visit to Hogwarts and would not be doing so until the first task where he was required to present as a judge.

And this was something that weighed heavily on Harry's mind.

Meanwhile, Narcissa had been successful in the task he had allotted her. Acquisition of The Daily Prophet. Although the price had been a bit steep, Harry did not mind it all.

What mattered to him was that now he had a great tool of 'propaganda…' ahem communication in his hands.

And that duty too had naturally fallen in hands of Narcissa. And like an experienced and seasoned veteran of politics, she had been very smart about it. she had not directly started to praise Harry or showcase him as a great leader. What she did was purely methodical and it would need few more days before the method was completed.

The newspaper continued to attack Harry but what changed that between those attacks now were questions which were asked to the ministry. A slight target at Dumbledore or minister of magic or Lucius Malfoy.

Narcissa very smartly had reduced the scathing attacks on Harry and the question to other party were continuously increasing. In no more than few days, the attack on Harry would start to turn into hidden praises while launching scathing attacks on his opponents.

Harry was busy reading one such article in The Daily Prophet when he felt something. A tracker he had placed on a certain someone had just transmitted some information to his mind and his mouth curled up in a smile.

"Bellatrix, I am coming," he muttered. "Where is the horcrux?"

And with a twist of space, Harry vanished from his office.
