The orcs made a lot of noise after returning. They were celebrating a lot. They also brought some of the demonic bulls to eat since a warm meal was way better than the rations that the lizardmen left behind. I was also interested in the taste, but I wasn't that eager to eat anything with the word demonic.
Still, when the meat started to smell good, even my zombie body couldn't help but salivate. I waited for half an hour after the orcs began to eat and then joined them… it tasted awesome. It was like real beef.
"I guess we can take some of the bodies at night…"
When night came, we confirmed that the demons didn't send any numbers to any other area, so I had to wait for Melody's report on her end. While I waited for her, I also checked my progress.
