After that overly dramatic fake end, the giant plant monster began to convulse in pain while a lot of smoke began to leave its mouth… I thought that I would be able to kill it with a few sword strikes, but it seemed that the monster was only weak to fire… and since it could spam vines endlessly, attacking from inside was the best option.
Regardless, the monster tried to devour me before I could burn its interior and that showed the lack of its brains… since it didn't have blood, it made sense that the monster wouldn't have a functional brain.
Eventually, the monster began to burn from the inside out and then expelled me from its body like I was the plague… after flying in an arc, I fell on the ground and rolled a few times… my body was charred as well since the flames also hurt me, but only a small amount.
"Die, motherfucker. Die."
I spent my remaining mana to bombard the monster and the creature didn't have the chance to do a single thing since the pain made it unable to react… in the end, the monster turned into fuel, and the chamber had been completely overtaken by smoke.

"Gluttony, huh? I should have known…"
The fight hadn't been that fun… but at least it had been a fresh experience. I had heard that some people had the sexual fantasy of being eaten alive by sharks and now I could tell with precision and with experience that those people were completely weirdos.
"I guess I won't be able to choose an item this time since the monster didn't use any, and I burned everything down.
After looking around for a bit, I found the entrance to the sixth floor of the dungeon… I was curious about what I would find there, but first, I decided to recover for a while. It was a good chance to let Glutonous Essence get some experience as well.
"I guess I will have to either let some enemies hit, or I will have hurt myself to make this skill level up fast. For now, I don't need it, but it will come in handy at high levels."
I found fifty Cooper coins on the side of the body of the boss, so I soon decided to rest after storing those away. Weirdly enough, I felt a bit sleepy for the first time since I became a skeleton… it must be because I suffered some damage… I couldn't explain any reason for it. Considering my initial health, that was actually a lot of damage.
Weirdly enough, I fell asleep after letting my back rest for a moment… as if that wasn't surprising enough, and I also had the dream of that day when I was embarrassed in front of the whole class by that girl… it felt like the perfect revival of that day. The only thing that seemed a bit weird was the fact that the girl looked a bit more like the vampire queen. Was that my imagination playing tricks with me? Eventually, I woke up after hearing a weird phrase…
"Yeah, eat shit, normie. Go get yourself dumped."
After looking around and checking my body for a moment, I confirmed that I was still a skelly… the stuff about dying and becoming a monster hadn't been a dream. In any case, I forgot about that and confirmed that my health and mana were back to full.
"Time to check the next floor… I should have slept for around four hours, and the boss still didn't reappear… even though the body of the previous one had vanished already. I will come back in eight hours and then after half a day after that."
When I approached the entrance to the next floor, I didn't find many plants coming out from it… it will be hard to understand the rules of the dungeon when it looks like they don't have rules at all.
Weirdly enough, after crossing the dark staircase, I reached the bottom without finding any light in it… it seemed that the next section of the dungeon was pretty dark for whatever reason. Even though I was expecting my eyes to adjust to the darkness, that wasn't happening.
"What the heeeeeellllllll…"
I used Envious Flame once, and the fireball flew illuminating the area for dozens of meters before it collided against a wall. The sixth floor looked like an ordinary corridor of a cave, but that didn't help me that much. It seemed that I would need a torch or something to cross that area and fighting with a torch in one hand and with a big sword in another was going to be tough.
"You should return to the orcs city and buy a certain helmet of exploration."
Roskarl suddenly appeared and then said that… he also used his magic to show a literal skull that had a lantern equipped on it.
"Are you messing with me? I am a skeleton. Besides, that item curses its users to look like an idiot."
"It is the only way to proceed forward."
"Says who? I am the one who decides that. My pride should be at the max level already."
