Chapter 11 - Driving him to The Edge

With the way she glared ever so cold as ice at him, Hayden stood finding it quite charming and attracting even as he knew that it was going to be offending in a way to her.

On an impulse, he asked nicely with confuse evident in his tone, "What have I done? Please, can you tell me?"

For a while, he watched her being taken aback by his question then she frowned with more hostility than ever in her eyes casting an icy glare at him before turning and walking towards her car. He tried as hard to not look or eye-catch her buttocks but it was really difficult as she was a highly sophisticated woman who was so enticingly curvaceous in every way.

Breathing a sigh of relief, he was thankful that she took it out of his eye sight hurriedly else he would've done something stupid that she'll get a lot angrier by which would be diminishing to him that he'll regret ever doing it to the rest of the end of his life.

Immediately, she'd gotten to her car then she turned and faced him back again with much rage and anger sparking from the orbs of her far too pretty eyes.

"You've scratched my car that's what you've done" She yelled again this time with her hands akimbo making an interrogatory stance and poised that was sure again seductive to him.

Dumbstruck and extremely confused again, he watched her with his face as expressionless as a stone and he couldn't understand what was happening here between them.

'Like, he thought pondering, she was talking about her cherished and precious car! But then, what about my bicycle? Have she not seen the lost and damages she'd caused me? Isn't my own more warranting than hers?'

Looking at her as if caught in a daze, he didn't know and couldn't make out what could be on her hard to understand and unreadable mind. Innocent and in guilty as he knew he was without blemish, he stood silently waiting for her to start muttering him some apologises, maybe giving him a little compensation and admitting her fault.

But then, she also stood quietly with her arms crossed looking expectantly at him too. At anytime soon now, he expected her to start talking but she stood quietly not ever intending to speak till eternity and gladly he also stuck with her option of an decision.

And that was how a heated and unwilling to quit nor give up stare down started between them.

'I would love to see how long she could take this, he was thinking after much of a while when she finally got tired of it and in willingly but helplessly gave up.

"Aren't you going to be saying anything?" She demanded in a fit of anger.

"Um, please, what do you want me to say?" He retorted her back at the instance helplessly dumbstruck this time.

Shocked and wide-eyed, she looked up at him with her gaze colluding with his. Her face was trying to in hear and not believe what he'd just said but he stood facing her tranquilly.

Taken aback again by his ever tempering aura of an attitude this time, she tried not to lose her mind or senses because of his surprisingly stunning display of daring character.

"I want you to say something about scratching my car just take a look you've actually done it" She informed stating the obvious and this time calmly point at some spot on her priceless car.

Tracing where her hand pointed with my eagle like eyes looking on, he noticed and spotted a little scratch near her left head light of her car. Still, he was twice as confused and dumbstruck because it wasn't as it the tiny scratch was clearly seen nor really visible though.

'Geez!, he thought privately to himself in an exclaiming manner, it was just some dumb small scratch mark! What's with the drama? Why was she making a big hairy deal, kick and hissy fit out of it? Why was she then upset? Why was she yelling at me? Why was she making it some kind of really big deal or something? Who could even notice that darn little mark thing from afar? Was it that visible and hard not to notice to her? Wait! Does she expect to own a car and not have a little scratch or mark on it while using it forever? How can she think that wouldn't happen? Was she really dreaming? Could she - '

"Are you just only going to look at it or you don't have some words to say for your actions?" She asked snapping him out and interrupting his fazed thoughts.

Confusedly, he looked at her pretty face that was now filled with much of a great anger like a brewing storm giving a cue to be thundering harshly soon as she kept glaring at him waiting in anticipation for what he doesn't know of nor had the slightest idea about.

"What do you want me to say?" He asked with his words in effect before and adding while informing her wisely, "I mean, its just a darn mark"

Scoffing, she mocked no one a little after getting over it she then stormed up to him in a hell of rage hardly believing what he'd just said all the while.

"Excuse me, could you please repeat yourself?" She asked slowly glaring at him much more with an intention of doing something badly unexpected soon.

Sighing, he didn't like the way things were going between them as this was about to turn into an fully heated argument that would lead to a big fight if not stopped and the worst thing was that he himself still doesn't understand the reality of the situation to begin with.

He couldn't fight with someone as beautiful and stunning as her. The sight of her looks was fainting and intoxicating his senses. He was a man and she was a woman who was a damn goddess of beauty!

'Who was really much at fault here?, he wondered hard, me or she?'

Making a stance, she crossed her arms more all the while standing glaring up at him waiting for him to repeat what he'd earlier said to her which he have no doubt that she'd surely heard correctly but she just wanted to tip him off the edge and get on his nerves.

"Its a darn little mark no one can notice it much from afar and I can't - -"

"I don't care what you think of it" She yelled cutting him off with an outburst leaving him much shocked and horrendous at the spot he stood. "You scratched my car and you're telling me that its just a darn little mark. Are you for reals? How is that your business?"

Oh! she has done it by pushing him passed the brinks of his edge, he thought, she's crossing the lines and was becoming a pain in the neck. He was already by a hair length of getting close to loosing total control of his cool. He didn't like the and couldn't bear anymore of the way she was yelling at him.

Instinctively, he wanted to yell back at her also but he reasoned that he was the gentleman here who was expected to be much more sensible, responsible and reserved than she is if only she knew how much he was holding his craze in while enduring her mannerless acts that needed cautionary taming.
