Upon reaching her floor, Lu Qingqing found that Fu Yisheng had indeed opened the door to Room 701.
It seemed to have been cleaned up already, the shoe cabinet with the curio shelves nowhere to be seen. One could look straight through into the living room.
"Truly a neighbor across the door?" Lu Qingqing curved her eyes in amusement, but the idea of being neighbors with a wealthy tycoon who, she assumed, would prioritize privacy and safety by living in a large villa, felt particularly novel to her.
Fu Yisheng smiled and said, "They say a good neighbor is better than a distant relative. I hope Miss Lu will have lots of advice for me in the future."
"Likewise, likewise." Lu Qingqing giggled, thought for a moment, then lifted the big and small packages she had taken from her doorstep, "If Mr. Fu doesn't mind, I can make a couple extra dishes tonight as a way to celebrate Mr. Fu's housewarming?"
She felt she owed Fu Yisheng quite a few favors and should be hospitable.
