Fu Yisheng and Lu Qingqing hadn't arrived home yet when Fu Ying and Qin Wanyang saw the news online.
The internet is indeed convenient, far quicker than the traditional paper media.
Seeing her daughter-in-law, Qin Wanyang was so happy her eyes squinted into slits, and she hurried to stuff a prepared jewelry box into her hands. Even Fu Ying had a big red envelope for her.
The couple expressed their feelings in a simple and direct manner, which was to give, give, give!
The jewelry collected by Qin Wanyang could be given away one piece per day, enough to last until the end of her days.
"Qingqing, we weren't in the United States to take care of Yisheng, you really did a lot of work," Qin Wanyang actually wanted to address herself as 'mom,' but she knew that in Lu Qingqing's hometown it was customary to change the way one addresses one's elders, so she held back. Yet, the radiant smile on her face couldn't hide her joy, as if the wrinkles had faded away.
