Lu Qingqing laughed as she explained the origin of the items, "Grandpa Liu and Grandma Liu intended to eat these at noon. Don't let them go bad."
Grandpa Liu slapped his thigh, "If I had known your family had guests, I would have slaughtered a sheep today!"
"It's fine; we still have some mutton left from the other day. It's the same if we kill one tomorrow. You won't miss out on half a sheep from our family," said Lu Qingqing playfully. "Grandpa Liu, I can't chat for long, I need to go home and help my parents cook."
Grandma Liu handed her a vegetable basket, "Then we won't keep you. Take these with you to add more dishes."
Lu Qingqing looked down and saw that the basket contained a small half basket of okra, along with two sticks of dark smoked meat and several smoked sausages.
