"Of course not!" The brothers shook their heads in unison.
"Not my brother?"
Lan Jin was even more puzzled now. If it wasn't her brother, what could it be? A niece or a nephew, perhaps?
So, Lan Jin guessed all the possibilities again, but it still wasn't right.
Lan Jin narrowed her eyes. It couldn't possibly be her son, could it?
She certainly didn't have a son that old.
"I give up." Lan Jin decided to stop guessing.
"Goddess, just try one more time, you're almost there," Rong Lin urged, not ready to give up and wanting her to keep guessing.
Lan Jin raised an eyebrow and blurted out, "Could it really be my..."
She was just about to say "son" when the ringtone from her phone on the dining table interrupted her.
It cut off what she was about to say.
