Before anyone knew it, the day of the Nine Provinces Academy's jungle examination had arrived. There were a total of 200 places for new students, but only 48 had shown up to take the exam, the rest having backed out.
Everyone had assumed that the exam would be held in the jungles of Quan State, so they all dressed in thick down jackets, with some wrapping themselves up so tightly they looked like bears, clumsy and comical.
It was only upon arriving at the gathering spot of Nine Provinces Academy that they learned the examination would take place in Country A's jungle, and that a special plane would soon take them all to Country A.
Lan Jin, Gu Wanwan, and Rong Lin had all arrived at the gathering point. Lan Jin had received a call from Lan Yanhao before coming, expressing his concern for her participation in the examination. He told her to take care of herself and he'd be waiting for her safe return to celebrate her birthday.
