Lan Jin spoke in a languid tone, "I did finish it."
Rong Lin was stunned. Could she really finish it while sleeping? It's finished for sure, but probably just written haphazardly.
He was just about to lecture her again when he heard Lan Jin say, "Let's go, time to eat, I'm starving."
Lan Jin tightened the drawstrings of her hoodie and tucked her hands into her pockets. She strode downstairs with an indifferent gait.
Rong Lin scurried after her, chattering incessantly:
"The math test today was kind of tough, especially that last multiple-choice question. I spent ages on it, but thankfully I nailed the right answer, haha."
Lan Jin glanced at him and asked curiously, "So did you choose A or B?"
Rong Lin replied confidently, "Of course B, it's definitely B."
Lan Jin looked at him with a smidge of sympathy and said breezily, "The correct answer was A."
Rong Lin's face showed disbelief, "How could that be? It's clearly B. I asked others, and they all chose B too."
