When the auction was mentioned, Qin Yin immediately felt annoyed; had he known, he should have gone to the auction himself. He definitely would have recognized his wife disguised as a man at first glance.
And he would have taken the chance to bid on all of her Sorrow-Relieving Sachets.
"Do you still have any sachets?" Qin Yin asked impatiently.
"You want them? You're having trouble sleeping too?" Lan Jin retorted.
"I want." Qin Yin smiled, looking at her expectantly.
He thought he would hear something like "Seeing as how you've been behaving, I'll give you one for free" but instead...
"If you want one, I can sell you one at a discount."
The expression on Qin Yin's face stiffened, and he eventually spat out a word reluctantly, "Okay."
But in the end, Lan Jin threw him one without taking his money.
She's my best friend, why should I take her money? That would be too estranged.
Qin Yin was ecstatic, his wife still cared for him after all.
