Having reached the hotel's underground parking garage, Lan Jin didn't get out of the car but instead let Rong Huo go ahead to the press conference; she would go later.
Complying with his mother's arrangement, Rong Huo left with his brothers first.
Leaning against the back of her seat, Lan Jin lazily reached to unzip her backpack. Qin Yin knew she wanted snacks and, quick as a flash, performed a sleight of hand to produce a bag of imported chips, handing them to her, "Here, eat."
Immediately after, he conjured up a bottle of freshly squeezed juice and only after twisting open the cap did he hand it over to her.
"Did you make this juice yourself?"
Lan Jin looked at the juice in hand; it didn't seem store-bought. Her gaze hesitated slightly, and a strange feeling flickered through her heart.
"Mhm, I'll make fresh juice for you every day from now on."
