"You're saying we've met again? Have we already met before?" Rong Ni's eyes narrowed with ferocity as he interrogated Rong Zhuo, his teeth clenched in jealousy.
Rong Zhuo was still looking at Lan Jin, his tone indescribably gentle, "We met last time."
Rong Ni got annoyed, always feeling that their mother was a bit colder toward him, surely because she thought he wasn't handsome enough.
He knew he should have slapped some powder on his face before he left home today, to at least conceal the dark circles under his eyes.
"That... my name is Rong Ni."
Rong Ni suddenly stood in front of Lan Jin, as straight as an outstanding student, and started introducing himself.
Lan Jin was somewhat skeptical about whether this kid had issues with his head; she uttered a cold "hmm" and gave him a lukewarm glance before withdrawing her gaze.
