Lan Jin returned home and heard Lan Jiaojiao excitedly talking about representing Quan State No.1 Middle School in the National High School Mathematics Competition. If she could win first place, she would be granted exceptional admission to Emperor State University.
Unfortunately, with Li Junyang and Lan Ronglin blocking the way, along with several top students from Experimental Middle School and Emperor State Ninth Middle School, her mathematics achievement, although outstanding, was still far behind theirs.
After her initial excitement, Lan Jiaojiao ambitiously said, "Actually, it doesn't matter if I don't get first place, since my goal isn't Emperor State University."
"If not Emperor State University, then which university?" Shen Rong asked, puzzled.
